Abstract :
In this paper, the signal sampling and processing system of fiber optic strain based on Lab VIEW is designed and implemented. In order to achieve health monitoring for bridges and intelligent buildings, the collected strain data are managed by means of storing the data into the founded table of database in LabSQL, which can achieve long-time running, large-capacity data acquiring and historical data inquiring and analyzing etc. The system mentioned in this paper can implement synchronous multi-channel real-time data acquisition and analysis for fiber-optic strain signal, which also can analyze signals by used of histogram threshold value analysis in time domain and energy spectral density analysis in frequency domain. This system has such advantages as high precision, flexible to operation, large storage and easy to extend and so on. It has the broad application prospect in the field of structural health monitoring.
