Abstract :
According to the principles of system dynamics modeling, the authors develops a system dynamics model for the urban development strategy of a special city that derived from the natural resources exploitation. Considering that urban agglomeration has becoming the economy growth poles in the regional economy and the determination of region development, the SD model takes the urban agglomeration as the main body of the system. In the simulation, 4 development environment scenarios of the urban agglomeration and 3 development modes are given. At the end of the paper, the coordination function is introduced for the mining-dependent city to choose the scheme for the urban development strategy.
