Abstract :
A new approach is presented to simulate a broadband matched load in planar structures using an integral equation formulation. It enables the whole characterization of any multiport discontinuity including an original definition of the characteristic impedance. It results in a full-wave circuit simulator particularly realistic in regards to measurements.<>
