Abstract :
Passenger stations are usually having complex structure, and filled with crowds and luggage. Once an emergency occurred, the passengers were perhaps required to evacuate immediately, hence they may drop off their luggage arbitrarily because of scare, tension and some other factors, where the abandoned luggage inevitably result in additional obstacle for evacuation. This article improves the traditional cellular automation model by involving with the special settings we mentioned above in passenger station. A case study with different simulation parameters are implemented. The experimental results indicate that the proposed model can clearly reproduce the characteristics and phenomena of the crowd flow in the simulation of evacuation process.
