Abstract :
This paper presents a new scheme for enhancing the security of full disk encryption in the mobile device or the storage area network in order to improve the performance of encryption algorithm. The aims of the proposed scheme are to defend against the watermarking attack in time sequence using the dynamic sector tweak through sequential change detection on the disk read-and-write request and to construct the multiuser environment suitable for a disk shared key using the light double-prime structure. This design involves two forms with and without re-keying. The implement of the scheme can avoid storing keys, which makes our scheme compatible with the security management system of the existing device. Analyses show that the scheme is provably secure and can prevent inner and outer attackers from attacking. To the best of our knowledge, the scheme offers the first neat solution to the watermarking attack in the same sector.
