Abstract :
Magnolia heptapeta has been used in traditional Chinese medicine. However Magnolia heptapeta are still underutilized and hence wasted. In order to better utilize Magnolia heptapeta resources, the biomedicine resource of benzene/alcohol extractives from Magnolia heptapeta leavies were analyzed by GC/MS. The main ingredients of benzene/alcohol extractives of Magnolia heptapeta were toluene, 1,3-dioxane, 2-pentadecyl-, 3,6-nonadien-5-one, 2,2,8,8-tetram ethyl-, 6,8-dioxa-3-thiabicyclo(3,2,1)octa ne 3,3-dioxide, aromadendrene, dehydro-, 1-naphthalenamine, n-phenyl-, phenol, 2,4-bis(1-phenylethyl)-, vitamin e, 3,6,9,12-tetraoxatetradecan-1-ol, 14-[4-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)phenoxy]-, phytol, phenol, 2-(1-phenylethyl)-, ethanone, 1-(methylenecyclopropyl) , 6,7-dimethoxyquinoxaline, 1,2-benzenedicarboxylic acid, bis(2-methylpropyl) ester, etc. The results obtained fully indicated that the benzene/alcohol extractives of Magnolia heptapeta leavies had the great potential of biomedicines.
