Abstract :
Using the high density resistance to survey the distribution of island structure permafrost along Bei´an-Heihe Highway in Lesser Khingan Range region, combining the resistance images with the results of geological drilling and field temperature, the application effectiveness of high-density resistance was analyzed. The results show that: the high-density resistance image has an obvious mutation in the upper and lower edge of island permafrost. The mutation value can reach to 150Ω · m ~ 200Ω · m, and the permafrost shows obvious high value, which is usually more than 200Ω · m. At no permafrost areas, the resistance image changes smoothly, and no mutation. When the thickness of the permafrost layer is more than 4 meters, in high-density resistance image, the mutation value of its upper and lower permafrost edge is generally more than 150Ω · m; when the thickness of the permafrost is less than 2 meters, the mutation value of permafrost edge is generally in 80-200Ω · m. The research results proved: combining geological drilling and mutation value of permafrost edge can measure the location of island structure permafrost area quickly and correctly. It also can prove correctly reference to Linear engineering positioning and the relevant project measure.
