Abstract :
P2P traffic has now occupied a lot of Internet bandwidth. To insure that the network runs normally, it is necessary to identify P2P traffic in the Internet and the traffic should be properly controlled. This paper gives a method to identify P2P traffic in the Internet based on Naïve Bayes classification technology. The method builds a P2P traffic recognizer combining load characteristic recognition and port recognition of Deep Packet Inspection. And its validity has been preliminarily verified.
