Abstract
A theoretical development is presented for the analysis of microstrip antennas on conical surfaces, operating in the TM10 mode. The cavity model with magnetic side walls is used for the calculation of the resonant frequency and input impedance. The dyadic Green´s function formulation is used to calculate the radiated fields and the radiation quality factor. Particular antennas me examined and numerical results for operation in the TM10 mode are shown
