Abstract :
We have newly developed a single chip VSB (vestigial side band) demodulator LSI for the US terrestrial digital TV system. In this LSI, we have improved the waveform equalization performance and reduced cost and power consumption by adopting an all-digital architecture and a waveform equalizer that uses a newly developed algorithm.
