  • Abstract
    The Schematics of optical satellite network WDM switching node and opto-microwave cross-connect repeater for telecom satellite are introduced. For these two payloads, the microwave signals must be microwave-opto modulated to switch and cross-connect in optical domain. So the performance of opto-microwave modulator and demodulator is very important to WDM switching node and the opto-microwave cross-connect repeater. The Ka band opto-microwave modulating and demodulating test system is setup and the microwave gain and signal-to-noise ratio of Ka band are tested.
