Abstract
The new scenario envisioned by the European Higher EducationArea (EHEA) seeks to enhance student participation in class, and to develop a proactive attitude towards their education. One priority aim of the Technical University of Valencia is to foster this attitude introducing a continuous assessment process. In this article, the lessons learnt in using the new Information and Communication Technologies (TICs) for teaching Digital Systems Fundamentals (GII-FCO) are presented. These technologies have been a key element in addressing this new approach, helping faculty in the assessment process.
