Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to present a control technique for controlling the flux and electromagnetic torque of an induction motor using electrical parameters estimated in closed-loop. The parameters estimated in closed-loop are used to update the gains of an IFOC based motor drive system. It was also shown in this paper the performance of the closed-loop in presence of parameter changes. Experimental and simulated results are used to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed strategy.
