Abstract
PCs and workstations clusters are widely used for high performance computing in various domains with the increasing computing capacity of commercial computers. Monitoring system is one of the key components in cluster computing. Although there have been varieties of monitoring systems developed by different organizations, it is still a great challenge to monitor a heterogeneous multi-cluster environment. In this paper, we present a monitoring framework for a multi-cluster environment with heterogeneous monitoring systems, and then propose a comprehensive method based on the enterprise service bus (ESB) to integrate the existing monitoring systems as a unified monitoring framework.
