Abstract
We experimentally investigate the wavelength exchange under the influence of stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) and optical parametric amplification (OPA). Results show that both Raman and OPA effects degrade the performance of wavelength exchange by incomplete power exchange. The proposed allocation of pumps in anomalous-dispersion region can avoid these two effects so as to achieve a nearly-complete wavelength exchange
