Abstract :
Oil, as an important strategic material and special product, goes throughout all the aspects of production and daily life, being an important indispensable component in our modern economic life, it´s price fluctuation also affect every field of the economy. Since oil itself owns many unique characteristics which other commodities do not have, it is more likely to undergo a wide price fluctuation. Especially in recent years, international oil price suffered dramatic fluctuations, making oil price to be the focus of the global attention. In this paper, we first review the trend of the international oil price, on this basis we analyze the main reasons leading to the oil price volatility from the aspect of supply and demand; geopolitics and so on. Then according to China´s reality, we put forward countermeasures to deal with the international oil price fluctuation.
