E-educational Technology in College English Education

With the 30 years of reform and opening in China, the education in every field has gained and is gaining a rapid development with the help of ever-progressing technology. Meanwhile, the essential task of education reforms and the e-education development is to implement information technology in education and push the quality education forward. College English education technology is no exception. English, as an international language, is becoming more and more important. In China, its importance has already been shown very clearly. Nowadays, with the wide spread of such modern means as internet, multimedia and information technology, etc, the already popular English education is advancing with times. Electronic educational technology in college English education is mounting the teaching platform. Here, the advantages and disadvantages of adopting electronic educational technology in college English education are studied and analyzed, and some countermeasures are put forward, in the hope of benefiting and improving it.
