Abstract :
CdSe nanocrystals were obtained in relatively mild conditions from Na2SeSO3 and CdCl2 in aqueous gelatine solutions. Crystal parameters of gelatine-embedded CdSe nanoparticles, obtained from optical absorption, luminescence, and Raman spectra, are correlated to synthesis conditions: gelatine concentration, CdCl2 excess and temperature of ageing
