  • Abstract
This paper describes mathematical modeling, simulation and Measurement of analogue phase shifter based on distributed CPW transmission lines loaded by MACOM (MA46H071) Silicon Shottky diodes. Design and fabrication of two phase shifters circuits are presented in order to compare the performances of the circuit with and without tapering input section. We have used a linear profile of tapering input matching section, and we have compared the phase shifter performances in both cases. We have used Momentum Electro-magnetic simulator to characterize our phase shifter in order to validate the measurement. The expression of phase shifting is obtained using the global (Sij) matrix of proposed phase shifter. The simulations are compared with the measurement and good agreement is obtained.
