Distributed Architecture of Decision Support System (DSS) and its Implementation in E-Business Environment

With the developing of globalization of economic, trade and information and with the global extending of various companies or organizations, many decision-Making Situations happen in dynamic, rapidly changing, and often unpredictable distributed environments. As a powerful propellant force of Internet, e-Business based on web technology has been making DSS extended from LAN to Internet. Just in such an environment, a distributed architecture of DSS has been proposed in this study. DSS based on such the architecture is easy to be established, maintained and extended, and it also enables decision-makers to make decisions more simply in a browsing-web-pages way at anytime, anywhere or in any-situation. So it is easy for decision-makers to accept. At last, web technology on Internet is used to accomplish a distributed architecture of DSS based on J2EE in e-Business environment.
