Abstract
An adaptive solution to the joint frequency and time offset for OFDM (orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) systems is presented in this paper. Two schemes are proposed herein, whose important feature is that the correction is performed blindly (without any information about the value of its parameters) and without the need for any pilot symbols, therefore without any bandwidth efficiency loss. Within the acquisition range, the output of both proposed schemes is made completely independent of the frequency and time offset values.
