Abstract :
A new method is developed in this paper to determine the parameters of the Nash runoff model. As the developing of geomorphology, Rodriguez-Iturbe et al. have developed the relationship between geomorphologic parameters and Nash runoff model parameters. In this paper digital elevation model (DEM) is introduced to derive the geomorphologic parameters, and then the Nash run off model´s parameters are deduced. This method is used in the Yanduhe catchment, a tributary of Changjiang watershed. The result show that the calculated runoff is modeled well of the measured runoff. So there is a conclusion that this method can be used in the ungauged basins in NASH model.
