Abstract :
In recent years, millions engineers and researchers work directly or indirectly on next generation network. From the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing and mobile internet to three networks convergence, these revolutionary emerging industries are different forces that will drive the architecture and evolution of next generation network. IPv6 is considered the most important cornerstone. This paper provides an introduction about network development towards an intelligent multi-service optical network. Some key technologies of next generation network architecture based on IPv6 and GMPLS is present. This paper also presents implementation and demonstrations of services use cases for IPv6.
