Abstract :
The bottled spring water preliminarily exposed to GSM-1800 mobile phone radiation was used for watering of wheat grain. The number of shoots decreased considerably and they were worse developed. In comparison with this result the exposed water, wrapped by thin (40 μm) four-layered polyethylene film (PF) influenced the number of shoots and their growth positively. It is supposed that the PF action is similar to its well-known action to the fast neutrons passage. It can be assumed that little-known quantum properties of the EM radiation together with the supplementing properties of water are responsible for the non-thermal biological effects.
