Research status and Progress of Knowledge Integration

Knowledge integration (KI) is not only the basis of knowledge innovation, but also the important condition for different organizations to get sustainable competition advantage. Based on the detailed documentary materials, this paper offers a synergetic view of the literature on KI. In this paper, the meaning of KI is first introduced. Then, the research status of KI in fields of computer science and management are analyzed. Finally, the hot topics, directions and key issues about KI research are pointed out. This will further deepen theoretical study with a better target and reference, and will plays a fundamental role for enriching knowledge management theory and integration theory.
