Abstract
This paper reveals the main relations determined between the switching time, a value of the “preliminary” discharge current, hydrogen pressure and parameters of the external electrical circuit. Build-up rates of the anode current up to 7×1010 As-1 are obtained. Pulse pumping generators for TEA-CO 2 lasers switching between average powers up to 15 kW at a pulse repetition rate up to 5 kHz are created
