Abstract
When using virtualization environments the overall application availability can be significantly improved in planned or unplanned scenarios. The Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization technology is an important mean toward this end and the Live Migration process presents fault tolerance, load balancing, and disaster recovery to the next level.
