Abstract :
Summary form only given. We present our recent experimental results in the shape dependence of CdSe quantum rod´s radiative lifetime, which qualitatively verify the theoretical prediction of a crossing over between P/sub x,y/ and P/sub z/ levels. The preparation of colloidal CdSe quantum rods was described elsewhere. We show the transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images of two samples of the nanorods used.
