Abstract :
In this paper, mathematical model and econometric methods is used to estimate the frontier minority regions, especially Yunnan ethnic minority areas, output elasticity for human capital investment and the contribution of human capital investment on Yunnan Province economic growth. The conclusion is in frontier minority areas, basic education, especially primary education, has a more important role for economic development.
