Abstract :
In this article, the notion of vector-valued multiresolution analysis is introduced and the definition of orthogonal vector-valued wavelet packets is proposed. The characteristics of the vector-valued wavelet packets has been investigated and three orthogonality formulas regarding the wavelet packets are derived. In particular, it is shown how to obtain a new orthogonal basis of the vector-valued function space from these wavelet packets.
