Abstract :
Considering many constraints in practical application of container ship, a hybrid genetic algorithm for the optimized cargo stowage problem with a variety of goods in a single container was presented. Firstly this paper presents a mathematical model for the cargo stowage problem, then, describes the solving method of hybrid a genetic algorithm in detail. It could avoid the Genetic Algorithm´s precocity to a certain degree, and enhance the ability of local search.
