Abstract
A supply chain is a complex system, which involves the coordination of various entities such as suppliers, factories, warehouses, distribution centers, retailers and customers. It is important that supply chain must operate in a coordinated manner in order to optimize the performance. In this paper we apply the complex adaptive system pattern and build a supply chain model based on multi-agents in order to identify their coordination mechanism and emergent properties. The proposed method may support effectively the reengineering of business process, and the coordination of cooperation processes for constrained conditions of resource, time and so on.
