  • Abstract
    In order to ensure security and strengthen management of road hazardous materials transportation, the causes of hazardous materials transportation accident have been comprehensive and systematic analyzed, and meanwhile the accuracy information management countermeasures of road hazardous materials transportation of our country have been proposed, which point out that science and technology are very important for real-time tracking and monitoring the road hazardous materials transportation. In order to promote the accuracy information management, the paper also analyzed and studied the monitoring and early-warning technologies about hazardous materials, transportation vehicles and drivers, and proposed to establish the hazardous materials transportation monitoring platform that integrated the advanced technology of RFID, GIS, GPS, GPRS, fingerprint identification, video monitoring, voice monitoring, wireless communications, databases and so on. Therefore, it would be easy for us to achieve the modern management of hazardous materials transportation and turn the management method of road hazardous materials transportation from passive to active.
