Abstract :
Based on the spatial-temporal database of soil heavy metals, integrating open source WebGIS, spatial interpolation models and soil heavy metal pollution evaluation models, a WebGIS-based evaluation system for heavy metals in farmland soils (FSHMEGIS) is developed with ASP.NET, JavaScript and HTML. The construction of FSHMEGIS is divided into two parts: heavy metals database and models system. The database consists of sample measured data, spatial data and metadata. The Model system covers single index evaluation models, comprehensive evaluation models, and spatial interpolation models. The FSHMEGIS includes four primary modules named as sample data acquisition, sample data evaluation, regional simulation, and metadata browsing, respectively. Combining sample monitoring data with GIS data, spatial analysis and relevant modeling process are conducted. FSHMEGIS can be used for the on-line sharing, evaluation and consultant service of soil heavy metal information.
