Abstract
A simple, modified direct torque control (DTC) strategy that results in a regulated inverter switching frequency is presented. The strategy is less sensitive to motor parameter variations than alternative constant switching frequency strategies and is computationally inexpensive. Simulation and experimental results are presented to support the theoretical development.
