The Modeling of Farmer Behavior Analysis in Small Water Project Participatory Management

Based on the farmer participatory management in the small water project, the paper tries to design a system of participating mechanism for farmer to manage water project well. Firstly, it tries to construct the mathematic model to analyze the farmer participatory behavior when they begin to manage project from the social exchange theory and principal agent theory, and divides the farmer participation variable into the reward or no reward. Secondly, some others factors including project investment, running efficiency, farmer punished coefficient and psychological coefficient were all put into the mathematic model to calculate the trend of the farmer participating behavior change and get some mathematic propositions, which embody the participation mechanism for farmers inspiring and restricting enough when combing the practice. At last, according to the farmer behavior model analysis, it puts forward some thought of the incentive mechanism and political advice for farmer to participate water project management more efficiently.
