Abstract
A smart antenna is one of the key technologies adopted by TD-SCDMA, and an important aspect for the smart antenna is the choice of algorithm to operate the receiver. In this paper, a kind of algorithm that can be used in a smart antenna array receiver is given. Analytical and comparing results for the performance of the algorithm, measured in terms of the mean signal-to-interference plus noise ratio (SINR), are presented. The simulation made in the CDMA system proves that this algorithm performs well in suppressing the MAI of the system
