Abstract :
The automated control system of a technological process (ACSTP) is a human-machine complex used to solve complicated process control problems. ACSTP gets information from the control object, transmits, transforms it, sets control commands and performs them on the controlled object. Any ACSTP consists of 2 levels: low-measuring and control devices; and high-supervisory control and data acquisition system (SCADA system). The role of the man is to select criteria of quality assessment of the process on the basis of the information analysis given by the system. The aim of the article is to introduce main tasks and principles of the ACSTP realization on the basis of performed analysis and obtained experience
