Abstract :
Reports on using the modeling and simulation based system integration approach to the development of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle A3 System (BEV A3). BFV A3 System is a system upgrade of the existing BFV A2 System that is the backbone of the US Army mechanized infantry. The upgrade enhances system performance by adopting new fire control and full digitization of the vehicle control system. The integration window was reduced from 18 months to six months by using this revolutionary approach. The modeling and simulation based system integration approach also produced powerful tools to perform over 80% of testing and evaluation functions
