Abstract :
Open circuit voltage (OCV) of batteries is an important parameter for establishing a precise mathematical model. After charge or discharge, the change process of the battery terminal voltage is very close to the exponential change. Therefore, a prediction method based on GM (1, 1) grey model is proposed to obtain a precise OCV. Simulation and experiment results show that the voltage average relative error of this prediction method is below 0.0004 V and the mean square error ratio is below 0.4. It has higher precision than the exponential function prediction method. This prediction method for the OCV based on GM (1, 1) grey model is simple, robust, and has great significance for practical application.
