Abstract :
In this paper, the application of fiber bragg grating (FBG) embedded in intelligent composites was outlined, including monitoring the resin flow and residual stress in composites, curing process; structure health monitoring of composites such as strain change, delamination, cracks and other damages in the process of extra-loading. At the end, the problems of embedded FBG in composites were mentioned.
