Abstract :
The standard non-continuous adaptive feedback canceller re-estimates feedback path when oscillation or quiet is detected. It suffers from severe noisy-coefficient problem when oscillation is detected in a noisy environment. To reduce the noisy-coefficient problem in feedback path estimate, the paper proposed a feedback cancellation method based on one-step-ahead prediction which can model the desired signal as well as the feedback path. The paper shows that the proposed feedback canceller can reduce the noisy-coefficient problem obviously
