Abstract :
In this paper, we describe the process utilized to develop a comprehensive EMC management strategy to support engineering and design groups at our San Diego Technology Center- SDTC. The development of a new EMC management program and constructing a supporting facility is key for support of television, computer and computer display´s digital cable boxes, digital satellite receivers, digital video recorders and similar product development. Developing our capital and human resource plan to build an efficient EMC lab was approached only after research of other EMC labs recently developed or in actual development and construction phases. The paper attempts to document the process in developing management support for both the development of an expanded internal EMC site and the supporting management structure.
