Abstract
A new method is proposed to reduce the inter-carrier interference (ICI) in OFDM systems due to carrier frequency mismatch. The novel approach is based on a new interpretation of ICI on the basis of the properties of a time-varying ICI matrix and the use of pilot symbols transmitted through one of the antennas of the MIMO system
