Abstract
Based on the similarities between hi-tech industrial clusters and biological populations, this paper applies food chain and food web theory to guiding the development of hi-tech industrial clusters, and draws on the predator-prey mathematic model in ecology to calculate the quantity of the enterprise populations with predator-prey relations in the hi-tech industrial ecosystem. It is intended to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises and the stability of hi-tech industrial clusters.
