Abstract :
Studies the problem of detecting subspace signals in subspace interference and broadband noise. The authors derive the generalized likelihood ratio (GLR) and establish its invariances. Then then prove that the GLR test (GLRT) is the uniformly most powerful invariant detector, establishing once and for all its optimality
