Abstract
We demonstrate cross-gain modulation in an optical parametric amplifier for all-optical signal regeneration. A degraded 10-Gb/s return-to-zero signal has been successfully regenerated with a 1.3-dB receiver sensitivity improvement at 10-9 bit-error rate level.
