Abstract :
A cross-layer AODV protocol is proposed for CDMA-based ad-hoc networks by the method of setting the lower and the upper thresholds of link quality metric. Performance of energy efficiency is evaluated through simulation. It is shown that the proposed cross-layer AODV protocol is more efficient in consumption of network resource and energy, and more flexible in obtaining an optimized path to destinations.
