Abstract :
The minimum-time synchronous control problem of multi-missile system is considered. By normalizing the time variable, the original time optimal problem is transformed into a usual two-point boundary value problem, which can be solved via numerical methods. In order to reduce the computational burden of the numerical solving method, a combined control strategy is proposed. At first, the states and control inputs are optimized with a few discrete points, and the continuous control inputs are generated by linear interpolation. When the states of missiles are close enough, a simple consensus protocol is adopted. The computational burden can be reduced dramatically with the proposed control strategy. An example is given to illustrate the efficiency and validity of the proposed method.
