Abstract
The refraction of electromagnetic waves at the interface formed by an isotropic regular medium and a biaxially anisotropic gyrotropic medium is investigated. The existence conditions of negative refraction and the effect of the different medium parameters on the total reflection and total transmission for TE waves are discussed in different cases. It is shown that the negative refraction may occur at such interfaces. Numerical results are given to validate our theoretical analysis.
